About Purple Punch
Larry OG crossed with Granddaddy Purple gives Purple Punch its two defining traits: colour and dessert-grade flavour. The aroma leads with orange and citrus, with the grape and berry sweetness of the Granddaddy Purple side sitting behind it. The smoke is smooth and creamy, and the flower often finishes with genuine purple colour on the bracts in cooler finishing conditions. It carries 21% THC, and it has been one of the most requested strains on our shelf for good reason.
Growing Purple Punch Autoflower Seeds in Canada
This is the autoflowering version, so the plant flowers on its own internal clock. No 12/12 switch, no counting daylight hours, no worrying about a light leak in the tent. Flowering runs 8 to 9 weeks, which puts a complete run from seed to harvest at roughly 11 weeks.
Purple Punch does best in a controlled environment that stays warm with moderate humidity, which points most Canadian growers toward an indoor tent or a heated greenhouse rather than an open outdoor bed. In a tent you can hold temperature steady through cool prairie and northern Ontario nights, and you get the run finished on a predictable schedule. If you are growing outdoors in a warmer pocket of southern Ontario or the BC interior, the short autoflower cycle is the strain’s best asset: start in late spring, harvest by midsummer, and start a second run straight away for a second harvest before the season closes.
A word of caution specific to this cultivar. Purple Punch produces dense, resinous flowers, and dense flowers plus a damp Canadian autumn is how bud rot starts. Keep a fan moving air through the canopy, defoliate lightly around the main colas in the last few weeks, and pull humidity down as the flowers fatten. Because autoflowers have no veg period to recover in, keep training gentle. Low-stress training and light leaf tucking are fine; heavy topping is not worth the risk on this one.
What to Expect
Purple Punch is a euphoric, relaxing cultivar rather than an energising one. Growers commonly report feeling comfortable, talkative and sociable, and it has a reputation as an easy strain to share with company. The character is more mellow contentment than heavy sedation, and the citrus-and-grape terpene profile makes the flavour a large part of the appeal. It is one of the more approachable strains we carry for someone who cares as much about taste as potency.
Purple Punch autoflower seeds ship discreetly to every province and territory in Canada.

Ethan Brooks –
Purple Punch Autoflower from The Seed Pharm is all about flavor. The citrus and creamy notes are unreal, and the buds came out vibrant and frosty. Definitely a strain I’ll be growing again.
Logan Carter –
Very smooth smoke with a relaxing but social effect. I felt calm, talkative, and clear-headed. This strain really shines in the evening without knocking you out.
Nathan Coleman –
One of the best-tasting strains I’ve tried. The orange aroma fills the room during flowering. Easy grow indoors and finished right on schedule at about 8 weeks.
Tyler Morrison –
The colors on this strain are beautiful. Deep purples, sticky buds, and a sweet citrus scent. Effects are uplifting at first, then mellow and comfortable.
Brandon Lewis –
Purple Punch lives up to the hype. Great stress relief without feeling heavy. The Seed Pharm continues to impress with consistent genetics and quality seeds.
