About Blueberry
Blueberry is one of the genuinely old names in the catalogue, bred by DJ Short from Afghani and Thai landrace stock in the 1970s and refined over decades since. It took Best Indica at the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and has stayed in demand ever since on the strength of its flavour rather than any chase for potency.
The aroma is exactly what the name promises: ripe blueberry and sweet berry sugar, with a faint earthiness underneath that keeps it from tasting artificial. That sweetness carries through the smoke and lingers well after the exhale. Grown through cooler nights the flowers pick up deep blue and purple tones, which is where the strain earned its reputation as much as from the taste.
The effect is indica-leaning and physical, settling into the body and staying there. Many growers describe it as slow, heavy and best suited to an evening rather than a working afternoon.
Growing Blueberry Feminized Seeds in Canada
These are photoperiod feminized seeds, so flowering begins when you drop the light cycle to twelve hours. That control is useful with this strain because Blueberry stretches moderately once flipped, and holding it a little longer in vegetative growth lets you fill a canopy before that stretch happens.
It handles cool conditions better than most, which suits Canadian grows: the colour development actually improves when night temperatures drop late in flower. Outdoors it works well in BC and southern Ontario with a greenhouse or a sheltered spot to keep the dense flowers dry through a damp autumn. Airflow through the middle of the plant is worth attending to, since the buds pack tightly.
What to Expect
- Flowering time: around 8 to 10 weeks
- Height: medium, roughly 90 to 160 cm
- Structure: dense, resin-heavy flowers with blue and purple colouring in cooler conditions
- Difficulty: straightforward, forgiving of small mistakes
- Best for: growers who want flavour and colour over raw yield
Blueberry feminized seeds ship discreetly across Canada and the USA, with free shipping on orders over $99.

Blueberry is my favorite strain, 5 for 5 seeds germinated

Don’t know if it’s just me, but blueberry is a tough one for me to grow. Bought from Crop King before, didn’t have much success germinating, similar story with Seed Pharm – 4 out of 5 germinated. Plants grew and had frosty buds, but high wasn’t that strong. I love blueberry, but it’s always been better when I buy the buds direct, rather than trying my own grows. Anyone suggest an easier grow with similar flvors but better high?

I bought a 5 pack in May and luckily had a 100% germination rate. The plants are growing with determination and look really good and are beginning to have a sweet berry smell. Almost 3 ft tall, feeding them organic compost which seems to be helping a lot. Buds are looking nice and frosty, with lots of purple and orange hairs underneath. Will update on high if anyone interested

Solid customer service, very easy to deal with. Then again its marijuana, and not some call center in India. Mailed $ to get a little bonus seed, a little skeptical but discreet package arrived, all 10 seeds. Started germinating 5 of them, 4 showed good tap roots, 1 was barely sticking out but planted it anyways. it’s behind it’s brothers growing, not sure if it’ll make it. But will get amazing buds from the other 4. If this works out, I’m home growing forever now, no more store or dealer bought for me

As far as blueberry goes, I’m happy that 6 out of 10 germinated. That’s pretty standard with regular seeds everyone. I keep growing BB and always over order seeds because of this, but for me its worth it in the end. I have grown these many times and always liked this strain. So I guess it comes with the territory, if want 100% have to get feminized or auto. Overall a positive experience with Seed Pharm

I bought thesea few months back, 3-5 germinated and sprouted. For sure 2 are female, still waiting on the third to show its true colors. I think I’m down trying to conquer blueberry, gonna stick to an easier grow next time(white widow, OG or SD) at least I know those will be strong. Blueberry is more delcite to grow than other plants, so why put yourself thru the troubles

crop is almost down, nice frosty buds and with lots of orange and purple underneath. People, these are regular seeds, you have to buy more than 5 or even 10 so you’ll have enough female to grow. Don’t cheap put with just 5 seeds, or you’ll be disappointed. It’s a great strain once u get the hang of it, but always over buy, or ask the nice folks at Seed Pharm to send u a Cpl freebies to help out….wink wink.

Received order 4 days after placing it, happy with that as they told me could be up to 7.

getting 2 stars cause only 2 out of 5 seeds germinated. Growing requiring ways more care than other strains I’ve done in the past

Harder to germinate the seeds, but I guess this is a regular strain so its kinda expected, or at least the rumors are now true. Love the strain, but wish they’d make an auto flowering or fem version. Overall positive experience with this company, only advice if youre ordering a reg seed strain, order more than u need cause all the seeds wont germinate.
