About 13 Dawgs
A cross of G13 and Chemdawg, 13 Dawgs inherits strength from both sides and a flavour profile that sits well outside the usual sweet-and-fruity crowd. The dominant notes are earthy and woody with a clear citrus lift, and the aroma announces itself —the citrus undertone is unmistakable the moment a jar opens. Buds come small and densely packed, which makes them easy to break down cleanly.
THC runs above 19% and the genetics are an even 50% indica, 50% sativa. That balance is the selling point: the effect is uplifting and stimulating without locking you down, so it works across the day rather than only after dark. Many growers report a rise in mental pace that suits detail work and creative projects, along with occasional sensory shifts, altered depth perception, a sense of time slowing, before it settles into something more relaxed. The effects tend to run for hours.
Growing 13 Dawgs Feminized Seeds
This is a photoperiod feminized line, so the plant vegetates indefinitely under long light and only starts flowering once you drop to a 12/12 schedule. Timing that flip is the main skill involved, and it is also the main opportunity, every extra week of veg is more structure to fill with bud later.
13 Dawgs asks for some intermediate experience. It is not delicate, but it responds to grower input in a way that a set-and-forget plant does not. Topping early and running low-stress training through veg will convert its naturally quick, bushy growth into a broad, even canopy. If you would rather not manage training on your first attempt, something simpler like Blue Dream is a gentler starting point.
Height is not a problem indoors. The plant grows quickly but does not stretch excessively after the flip, so a standard tent handles it without heroic supercropping. Keep the lower canopy thinned so light reaches the interior bud sites, since the dense small-bud structure can shade itself out.
What to Expect
Indoors, expect roughly 350 grams per square metre. Outdoors, with a full season and root room, that rises to around 450 grams per plant. Both figures assume a proper veg period, the numbers drop sharply if you flip a small plant early.
The complete cycle is longer than an autoflower because veg length is your choice, but a photoperiod plant gives you a second chance on almost every mistake. A slow start, a nutrient issue, a training error, hold it in veg another two weeks and let it recover before flipping.
Overall difficulty: intermediate, with a comfortable margin for anyone who has finished a grow before.
