About 3 Kings
Three heavyweight American cultivars went into this one: Sour Diesel, OG Kush and Headband. The result is 70% Sativa and 30% Indica with a flavour that hits the palate immediately and then deepens on the exhale. Earthy and piney up front, pungent and fuel-forward after, filling the mouth and nose at the same time. The nose in the jar is tangy and sour, obvious the moment the grinder opens, and that sourness stays with the flower from cure through to the last bowl.
Cannabinoid content is moderate rather than extreme: around 16% THC with CBD under 2%. That low CBD and Sativa-leaning ratio push the experience toward the head rather than the body.
Growing 3 Kings Autoflower Seeds in Canada
As an autoflower, 3 Kings starts flowering on schedule by age alone. There is no light flip to time and no risk of an interrupted dark period ruining a cycle, which is genuinely useful for anyone growing on a balcony in a city with streetlights. The flowering stage runs 60 to 70 days, putting a full seed-to-jar run at roughly 11 weeks.
That compressed timeline is what makes autoflowers so well suited to the Canadian outdoor season. Start indoors in spring, move outside once night temperatures hold, and harvest before the weather turns. Growers with a warm July and August can start a second batch immediately after the first and get two harvests out of one summer, which is not realistic with a photoperiod at these latitudes.
3 Kings is not the easiest autoflower on the shelf. It rewards intermediate growers who understand feeding schedules and can read a plant, because an autoflower gives you no extra veg time to correct a mistake. Get the medium and nutrition right from day one and it is quite hardy. Plants reach medium height and will not dominate a small garden or grow tent. Expect around 600 g/m² indoors and up to 650 g per plant outdoors. The Sativa-influenced open bud structure is a real asset in a damp Ontario or BC autumn, since air moves through the colas and mould pressure stays lower than it would on a dense Indica.
What to Expect
Most growers report an uplifting, motivating and clear-headed character that suits daytime use, creative projects and social settings far better than bedtime. Strength is medium, so it will not pin a newer smoker to the sofa. The onset is bright and the tail end is calm without being sedating.
